A talkative taxi driver roams the nightly streets. An apathetic girl enters his car. The two don't seem to connect, until she asks to make a stop with intent to cause harm upon someone. Does their shared trip even have a destination?

When Lucia's father dies, she is left alone with her three servants: the maid, the gardener and the driver, Lazaro, who has a latent crush on her. Lazaro's infatuation becomes an obsession as the hierarchies of the household shift and might allow him to act on his desire.

STREET DANCERS: They're bold and they're bad; they're breakers — freestyle dancers who know a mean beat as well as a mean street. STAGE DANCERS: Grand and graceful gypsies — polished performers who are passionate about their art and the theater. When the choreographer of a troubled Broadway-bound musical brings the two groups together to energize his show, the results are less than successful. The professional dancers rebel when the street-wise breakers invade their turf — the theater. Tempers explode and the opening of the show is threatened. The exciting dance sequences, including the grand finale, were choreographed by Beat Street's Lester Wilson.

The performance is a call for action in support of the Ukrainian people facing Russia’s ongoing war and violence. Performed by Lithuanian Olympian Rūta Meilutytė, swimming through blood-red water in front of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius, the work becomes a powerful symbol of resistance, solidarity, and the urgent need to not remain neutral.
